December 11, 2009, Newsletter Issue #332: Using a Home Gym

Tip of the Week

If you are a beginner to weight training and have purchased a home gym, you should have some good instructions from the manufacturer. Often, there is a video available. If you can't get instructions from the seller or the manufacturer, it's best to get a personal trainer to come in and show you how to use it. There are good online sites giving tips and showing exercises, but these are more helpful if you have a little experience. There are too many different kinds of home gyms to easily learn to use one from general instructions. A good personal trainer has experience with many different kinds of equipment and can figure out how to use it.
