May 21, 2010, Newsletter Issue #354: Rowing Machine Effect on Knees

Tip of the Week

Using a rowing machine shouldn't bother your knees unless you have an injury. If you feel pain when rowing, check with a doctor. Any exercise that moves your knees helps lubricate them, and rowing does strengthen the surrounding muscles, so if there if no other problem, rowing should be good for your knees.
