Strength is decreased when doing cardiovascular exercise before strength training. If you want to focus on building strength, hit the weights first. (You can still do a short cardio warmup.) On the other hand, if cardiovascular is more your focus, do cardio training first. The more advanced you are, the more significant the order of your strength and cardio training will be. For beginners, it doesn`t make that much difference.
