March 26, 2004, Newsletter Issue #95: Work Both Sides

Tip of the Week

Men often concentrate on biceps and pecs. If you want big arms, remember that the triceps are 2/3 of the upper arm. Working your tri`s will make those bi`s show up a lot better. Concentrating on the pecs and ignoring upper back can ruin your posture. Overdeveloping your chest can give you a hunched-over look.
Women often concentrate on lower body. Sure, you can firm up your hips and thighs, but some upper body work will give you more of a balanced look, as well as increasing your strength and helping to avoid injury.
